Welcome to R&D Machine!

 

We specialize in CNC machining of precision metal components for aerospace, defense, and space applications. Most of our parts have complicated geometries, are made of aluminum, and are used above the Earth’s surface, in either our atmosphere or in outer space.

We cater primarily to low and mid-size volume requirements, including prototypes. Our technical and manufacturing personnel frequently work closely with customers on a variety of new parts and programs.

Our capabilities are highlighted by extensive 5-axis milling capabilities along with state-of-the-art Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM). We also have lathes with Y-axis, live tooling and both 3 and 4-axis mills. Using computer models of customer parts, we expertly program both the cutting tool paths needed to machine these components and the CMM’s to automatically measure every dimension.

Our quality system is certified to the ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards. This system ensures each customer receives machined components which dimensionally meet their part specifications and are finished correctly. Our customers can use their machined parts for further assembly without any additional work or inspection.
