Kevin Farmer, President
Kevin joined Quality Products in 1983 and steadily worked his way up through the organization.
He was named President in March 2019, having previously served as Vice President & General Manager, Quality Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Fabrication & Plant Manager, laser cutting programmer & operator welder and precision fabricator.
Greg Donaldson, Operations Manager
Greg started his career at Quality Products in 2002 as a fabricator/welder. He was promoted to Fabrication Manager in 2005 and then took on the added responsibilities of Shipping Manager in 2018. During May 2021, Greg was promoted again to Operations Manager.
Prior to joining Quality Products, Greg worked at Fabtech Industries in Charlotte as a fabricator/welder and attended Central Piedmont Community College.
Dwayne Davis, Machining Manager
Dwayne has worked in the machining sector in a variety of positions for more than two decades. Prior to joining Quality Products in Oct. 2021, Dwayne served as a Machinist Lead and Production & Supply Chain Supervisor at Asko, Inc. for 11 years. He also worked as a CNC Machinist and in Customer Service at Winchester Electronics.
Graduating from Strayer University, Dwayne earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. He also acquired a masters degree in Supply Chain Management & Logistics from Liberty University.
Al Farrar, Fabrication Manager
Al was promoted to Fabrication Manager in early 2023. He joined Quality Products in 2002 as a welder after earning an associates degree in science at Gaston College. He also previously worked for Freightliner.
Al’s welding skills were initially developed through night classes taken for fun. His love for working on cars also motivated him to learn welding.
Compass Precision named Al the company’s first Employee of the Month in March 2020. He also contributed to Compass’s welding video and co-authored the company’s technical paper on MIG versus TIG welding.
Joe Fabrizi, Quality Manager
Joe began working at Quality Products in Jan. 2022. He has worked in the manufacturing industry for nearly 30 years and has lived in the Charlotte area for nearly that entire time. Most recently, Joe served as Quality Manager at Whelan Machine & Tool in Louisville, KY, but after a year, he moved back to Charlotte for the opportunity at Quality Products.
Although he’s a longtime veteran of manufacturing, Joe graduated with a civil engineering degree from the SUNY Broome Community College. In his career, he has also served as a Quality Manager at Vanguard Pai Lung and as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Safe Fleet.
Scott Zagora, Estimating & Business Development
Scott started at Quality Products in 2013 as a CNC machinist. He was promoted to machine shop supervisor in 2014 and then took on his present role in estimating and business development in 2018.
Scott previously worked for his family’s gear manufacturing firm in Charlotte and for ECS Enterprises in Concord, NC.
Donnie Rowe, Plant Controller
Donnie joined Quality Products as plant controller in March 2021. He previously worked at Thompson-Arthur Paving & Construction as a plant accountant.
A life-long resident of North Carolina, Donnie graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in business administration. He also earned a masters degree in accountancy from Gardner-Webb University.
Laura Henderson, Accounting
Laura joined Quality Products in 2015 as accounting assistant. She handles all AR and AP responsibilities.
Laura previously worked in numerous roles for several Charlotte-based companies, including as an office manager for Platt Construction, virtual assistant for Tamed Office, and office coordinator at SCA FabTool. She is also formerly the accounting assistant to the executive/management team at ITT/NexGen in Dulles, VA.
