Company Hires Amanda Przybyszewski

SALISBURY, NC  JUNE 10, 2020  Advanced Machining & Tooling, LLC, a leading manufacturer of precision metal components, with capabilities including both EDM and CNC machining, announced last week that it has hired Amanda Przybyszewski as its Office Manager effective immediately.

“I’m very excited that Amanda is joining our team here at Advanced Machining,” said Keith Felts, Advanced Machining’s President. “Her skills are strong, but more importantly, she has an energy level and commitment to customer satisfaction that fits perfectly with our culture.”

Amanda began her career with Kohl’s, where she worked for more than seven years as an assistant store manager. Over the last decade, she held five positions with different organizations all dealing with various levels of office management, each with increasing responsibility. In her most recent position, Amanda served as the office coordinator at Gamewell Mechanical in Salisbury, NC.

“I really feel Advanced Machining is going to be a good place for me,” said Amanda. “I think the thing I’m going to love most about working at Advanced Machining is there’s enough there to challenge me and to keep me engaged and busy. I am really just excited to have a lot of responsibility and rise to meet that need.

In 2008, Amanda earned a finance degree from UNC Charlotte. With the degree, she acquired a concentration in risk management and insurance.

“Amanda distinguished herself from other candidates for this position by her enthusiasm to contribute and desire to learn,” explained Paul Wilhelm, CFO of Compass Precision, LLC, the parent company of Advanced Machining and its sister companies Quality Products and Tri-Tec Industries. “Her outgoing personality will serve her well in supporting Keith’s team at Advanced and providing the important accounting link to Compass.”

Advanced Machining operates from a 10,000-square-foot facility in Salisbury, NC at 215 Forbes Avenue. It manufactures complex prototype and low-to-mid volume metal parts, focusing on blue chip customers in the telecommunication, medical, aerospace and defense markets. Felts and his partner Bobby Miller founded Advanced Machining in 1985. ZP Enterprises, LLC, an Atlanta-based firm, acquired majority interest in the company in 2011.

In October 2019, Main Street Capital Holdings, a Pittsburgh-based private equity firm, acquired Advanced Machining, along with its sister operating companies, Quality Products & Machine, LLC and Tri-Tec Industries, LLC, both in Charlotte, NC, from ZP Enterprises. Main Street established Compass Precision, LLC at that time as the parent company of Quality, Advanced and Tri-Tec with an emphasis on strong decentralized management at each individual operating company.
